For a performance request, please fill out this form below,
and our Board of Directors will reply with a confirmation. What to include in your performance request: The more detailed a performance request is, the better Jodaiko can try to accommodate the performance. Since Jodaiko is a student organization, we apologize in advance for any performances that cannot be fulfilled due to performer availability. Please also note that the earlier the performance request is received, the better it is for Jodaiko Directors to try and accommodate, however this does not guarantee a performance due to many scheduling and resource conflicts. Please include the following information in your requests. Performance Request Length: The performance request length is usually referred to as the 'Set' length. Jodaiko creates a performance set to accommodate a wide variety of events. A set is a single performance which can be comprised of either one or multiple songs. If a performance request involves two sets, a set to open an event and a set to close an event, then please include the performance length needed for EACH set. On average Jodaiko sets last anywhere from 10-30 minutes. Performance Event: It helps for the Jodaiko directors to come up with a performance that suits the needs of the event and sets a particular tone. Please let Jodaiko know the reason for the event, (i.e. Wedding, Award Ceremony, Cultural Expo, School Performance, etc) Performance Area Size: Given the size of Jodaiko's equipment as well the performance area needed to set up particular songs, it is very important that the performance requester can give an accurate performance area size. Please provide the dimensions of the area and state whether it is any of the following: Stage, Gym, Court Yard, Patio, Open Field, etc. Performance Date/Time: The more accurate the information on performance date and time the better. Please include the performance date and start time of the performance request. If the entertainment requires a schedule to be in place prior to the performance (confirmation date) please include that date as well. Also, if requesting multiple sets for a single performance, please include the times you would want each set to begin. (Ex.
